Operation Care International holds its Annual Christmas Gift event for the Homeless and Impoverished at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, which is the nation’s largest birthday party for Jesus!

Dress For Success
Help women gain confidence and dress appropriately for work, provide lightly used suits, make up application, encouragement and more.
Immediate holiday needs for this homeless shelter include: 1) Donated men's coats for winter and 2) One-gallon sized zip lock bags filled with goodies for students in 1st-12th grade before 11/23.
Needs help for kids transitioning out of their homes or staying in CPS office. Donations for coats, baby items (diapers, wipes, formula, bottles), beds, Christmas toys and gift cards. Help coordinate a drive. See attached flyer for more info or contact Rosie Shields at [email protected]
Drop off wrapped shoe boxes with inexpensive gifts between 8-11am through Dec. 12 to 2423 S. Good Latimer in Dallas.
Serves 200 homeless children daily in Dallas and provides them with food and a safe learning environment. Needs people to record themselves reading a book and send to the kids. Accepting donated Bye Bye bags (AKA Snack bags) for the children via drop off.
Provide food and a friendly face to seniors who are homebound, low income and/or medical conditions. Virtual opportunities available too.
HOPE'S DOOR & NEW BEGINNING CENTER
Shelter for abused women with children in Garland & Plano. Help organize resale store donations, create kids' craft projects or donate non-perishable food for pantry.
In person volunteer opportunities are available daily (Mon-Sat) to serve the people in Arlington. Holiday needs include: Prepping Thanksgiving meals and delivering them in boxes to families in the surrounding area as well as preparing the Christmas Store (Dec. 12-22) and delivering bikes and food on Christmas day. Bilingual speakers are needed too.

There is a need for volunteers to help stock food in "grocery store" and help load groceries during Drive Thru.
