Rev. Dr. Bryan L. Carter is the Senior Pastor of Concord Church in Dallas, Texas, where he has served since 2003, leading a congregation of more than 10,000 members. A visionary leader, passionate communicator, and community advocate, he is committed to helping people reach their full potential in Jesus Christ while advancing city transformation, strengthening families, and promoting economic development.
Dr. Carter serves on the Frost Bank Dallas Advisory Board, Dallas Mavericks Advisory Council, and Family Life Ministries board. He has chaired Harmony Community Development Corporation since 2007 and led the African American Pastors Coalition for ten years. His past service includes numerous civic, educational, and community organizations. In 2024, he was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr. Board of Preachers at Morehouse College.
He leads the E.K. Bailey Preaching Conference and co-founded Made to Last Ministries with his wife, Stephanie, to strengthen marriages and families. A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Dr. Carter earned a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary. He also received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Dallas Baptist University.
Dr. Carter and Stephanie have been married for 27 years and have three children: Kaitlyn, Kennedy and Carson.
