We Grow Communities

The vision of Concord Church's contribution to social justice and missions is to be a catalyst for change by expressing our passion for people, through the work of biblical justice and missional engagement.

SOCIAL JUSTICE AND MISSIONS

At Concord Church, we believe our faith calls us to love our neighbors, seek justice, and serve others with compassion. Through missions and social justice, we put faith into action, coming alongside individuals, families, and communities both locally and around the world.

From serving those in need to addressing the issues that impact our communities, we are committed to being a church that makes a difference. We create opportunities for people to learn, serve, advocate, and build meaningful relationships while reflecting God’s love through tangible action.

Together, we serve. Together, we seek justice. Together, we make a difference.

World Vision

Chosen Sunday

On Sunday, November 8, we’re partnering with World Vision for the Chosen Sunday, an opportunity to make a life-changing connection with a child in Kenya.

But this experience is different. Instead of choosing a child to sponsor, a child will choose you.

After you sign up, children in Kenya will gather for a special Choosing Party, where they’ll see your photo and choose the person or family they want to be connected with. Then, on Sunday, November 22, we’ll celebrate together during our Chosen Reveal Weekend, when you’ll discover the child who chose you.

CONCORD GLOBAL MISSIONS

AFRICA MISSION TRIP

Concord Global Missions is preparing for a meaningful 10-day journey to Africa in partnership with World Vision. This trip will provide an opportunity to visit local communities, learn firsthand about World Vision’s work, and see how the church can come alongside children, families, and communities in practical and spiritual ways.

During the Tuesday–Thursday portion of the trip, participants will spend time experiencing World Vision’s community-focused work and learning how local communities are being equipped to create lasting change. World Vision takes a holistic approach that addresses needs such as clean water, healthcare, education, child protection, economic empowerment, and spiritual support. Rather than focusing only on individual children, their model works alongside families and local leaders to strengthen entire communities for long-term sustainability.
