Women of every season in life growing and strengthening one another.
The 31 Women's Ministry includes women of every season of life committed to growth so that we can influence our families, our friends, and our communities for God. Through Bible studies, small groups, and events we help women become the mature women of faith as described in Proverbs 31. To put it simply: WE GROW WOMEN!
We want to meet you and help you connect with other women at Concord and in our community. To facilitate this, you can:
Women are encouraged to participate in Community Groups and Grow Groups. Community Groups meet outside of the church in the Fall; women's Grow Groups meet in the Spring for approximately 7 to 10 weeks.
Women of Worth (WOW) is a Bible study that promotes growth through studying God's Word and building relationships. The study is led by First Lady Stephanie Carter.
Each Fall, WOW kicks off with a general session held at Concord. The general session leads into a 7 to 8-week study culminating with a final lesson and graduation. Registration for WOW 2017 will open in August.
Following the mature women of faith found in Proverbs chapter 31, the 31 University are Grow Groups that meet at Concord in the Spring for about 10 weeks.
31 University provides Growth Classes with a wide range of topics speaking to women of all seasons, (single, married, divorced, widowed). The classes are designed to inform, encourage and grow adult women of all ages. 31 University typically kicks off late January to mid-February. Class durations range from 4 to 10 weeks, depending on the subject matter. The durations for each class will be noted with the topic during registration. Registration for 31 University typically opens in January.
Women have multiple opportunities to volunteer at Concord and in our community. Below are ministry areas and women’s events where our volunteers make a valuable contribution.
