FOOD PANTRY
Ministry Opportunities:
We are currently looking for a Food Pantry Coordinator to serve in our pantry. Please contact Tamra Williams at 214.331.8522 ext. 266 for information.
Monthly Food Donations
Each week we serve families from our church and community. We need your support on a monthly basis in keeping our shelves stocked. You may drop your donation off at the front desk. See below for suggested food items.
Food Drives
Mission Extreme (Youth Mission) will lead our church in five food drives this year to support our pantry. The food drives will be on the second Sunday of February, April, August, October, and December. They will meet you in the parking lot before each service to collect your donation. Please bring the item listed beside the first letter of your last name.
Suggested Food Items
A: Cornbread mix
B: Canned meat (i.e. Tuna, Spam, Vienna Sausages)
C: Pasta and/ or pasta sauce
D: Canned fruit
E-F: Macaroni & Cheese
G-I: Pancake mix and/or syrup
J-L: Cereal (hot or cold: i.e. Frosted Flakes or Oatmeal)
M-N: Beans and/or peas
O-P: Rice or canned potatoes
Q-S: Corn or green beans
T-V: Other canned vegetables (i.e. carrots, peas, greens)
W-Z: Juice
The Clothes Closet has been closed. Please do not bring clothes to The Food Pantry.
