Capital Campaign

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Concord family, your service to God and His people is greatly appreciated. It brings me joy as we continue to make strides in becoming a church that makes a difference. While now serving as pastor for nearly five years, our church family has witnessed amazing growth spiritually and numerically. As we began 2008 focusing on the importance of fasting and prayer through our 21 Days to Change, a wave of overwhelming support began and continues to gain momentum. One area of prayer we focused on as a church family was asking God to change our church. I believe that God is answering our prayers in many ways and we have been positioned to respond.

I invite you to join us as we embark upon this amazing journey that will advance our church body and the vision that God has given us. Concord is a “church on the move” and I am so excited about how this capital campaign will allow our church to become better stewards and expand the ministry so we may continue in our pursuit of living out the Great Commission (Matt 28:19 – 20). This campaign is tailored to help win souls for Christ and strengthen our relationship with God and His people. The challenge has been placed before us to make the necessary sacrifices in order that our impact in the church and beyond the walls of the church will have an encouraging and inspiring effect.

The continued success and strength of our church is a direct reflection of God’s unconditional love at the center of your service … you make the difference.

In His Service,

Rev. Bryan L. Carter

VISION:

Our vision is to be a church that makes a difference. We make a difference by making disciples. For the past 33 years, we have had the opportunity to impact the lives of our members and the community in many ways. As we prepare for our future ministry, along with our strategic plan we have also prepared a master site plan.

The master site plan has two phases:

  • Phase 1 encompassed implementing a two year plan, to improve our current facility.
  • During Phase 2 our emphasis would be on new construction of a Family Life Center.

Goal:

  • To promote spiritual growth through a biblically-centered stewardship campaign.
  • To create a culture of generosity.
  • To prepare the membership for greater growth and greater impact.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the capital giving campaign is to fund building renovation projects that are scheduled during the years of 2008-2009.  Our goal is to complete the projects without incurring any additional long-term debt.

PROPOSED FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Administrative Office Renovation (Completed)
  • Adult Classrooms Renovation (Completed)
  • Seeds Classrooms & Restrooms Renovation
  • Sanctuary Improvements
  • Multimedia Upgrades
  • GenXtreme Classrooms & Center Renovation
  • Fellowship Hall Interiors Renovation
  • Chapel, Lounge and Food Pantry Renovation
  • General Building & Grounds Improvements
