Proclaimer’s Place - Dr. Joel Gregory Proclaimer’s Place is an intense small-group experience led by Dr. Joel Gregory. A chosen biblical text is examined, moving from exegesis to sermon. Dr. Gregory demonstrates step-by-step his methodology for preparing biblical sermons. The seminar covers exegesis (analysis of biblical passages), hermeneutics (principles of biblical interpretation) and homiletics (application and explanation of biblical passages).
Couples Mini-Retreat - Dr. Dennis Rainey Ministry couples often are faced with a number of unique challenges. At church, they minister and counsel numerous couples but at home they have the same challenges that everyone else has. It is a delicate balance that every ministry couple must face. This mini conference led by the president of Family Life, Dr. Dennis Rainey will offer ministry couples the encouragement and practical teaching for building a healthy marriages. Dr. Rainey is the author of over 12 books on marriage and family.

Reaching People Through Marketing & Multiple Locations - Dr. Denny Davis Dr. Denny Davis has developed a national reputation for reaching communities through marketing and multiple church locations. He has successfully established St John Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, TX as a prominent mega church that reaches people across the DFW metroplex and has satellite campuses in two locations. Under his leadership, the Lord has added over 10,000 new members in his 17 years of service.
Developing a Sermon Plan - Dr. Michael Diduit, Dr. David Olford, & Dr. Maurice Watson Sermon selection can often challenge even the most experienced preacher. For this reason, sermon planning is critical to successful expository preaching. This mini-conference will assist attendees with the essentials of annual sermon planning and provide them with the opportunity to actually apply those principles in the workshop. The goal is that at the conclusion of the workshop, attendees will have a draft six-month or twelve-month plan for their preaching.
“Hot Legal Topics for Pastors and Churches That You’ll Want to Know” - Attorneys Faith Johnson and Laura Long This mini-conference will explore the current legal issues, topics and trends affecting churches, ministries, faith-based organizations and pastors throughout the United States.
Inside Look at Concord - Rev. Bryan Carter & Concord Staff This mini-conference will give attendees an opportunity to learn about Concord’s “Purpose-Driven” model for spiritual growth, personal development and ministry service. It will be an interactive session with current staff pastors and directors sharing their role in making this model a success. We learn from each other and this will be an intensive session to find ways to strengthen our churches.

Sharpening Your Leadership Skills - Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III Leadership is the heartbeat of the church and ministry. The greater your effectiveness as a leader, the greater the effectiveness of your organization. Vision, mission, staffing, lay leaders, strategy and evaluation are all important. Dr. Frederick D. Haynes is a leader of leaders and serves in numerous leadership capacities. This session will help every leader to raise their leadership to the next level.
Church Administration - Mr. Darryl Thornton Now that we’ve moved into the 21st century, the new Millennium church must rise to a new standard of providing quality member services and sound business practices. With churches varying in size from fifty (50) members to upwards of thirty (30) thousand members, excellent administration and leadership are essential. This mini-conference will provide strategies on how to develop a successful leadership team which includes a Church Administrator that is competent, capable and compassionate. Also key is the leadership’s team understanding of the Pastor’s Vision and translating that Vision in a way that motivates and inspires others to see it.
