New Beginning: A Relationship with God

People were created by God to have a relationship with Him. Every person was designed by God with a special plan and purpose in mind for their life. Your special plan and purpose can only be fulfilled when you have a relationship with God. Success in life is defined by fulfilling your God-given purpose. You can begin your relationship with God by:

REALIZING CHRIST'S DESIRE:

He wants to give you a satisfying and meaningful life on earth and unending life in heaven (John 10:10; John 3:16).

RECOGNIZING OUR DILEMMA:

As humans, we are all sinners who have displeased God in a variety of ways. Our sin prevents us from experiencing the life that Christ desires to give. Unless forgiven, we face eternal separation from God (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23).

RELY ON CHRIST'S DEATH AND RESURRECTION:

Christ died that you might be forgiven of sin, but He is no longer dead! He was also resurrected and is now ready to give you the forgiveness and life for which He died (Romans 5:8; Romans 4:25).

RESPOND WITH A DECISION:

You can enter into an eternal relationship with God by trusting in Jesus Christ alone to forgive you of your sins and to give you eternal life (Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8-9).

The Bible states that the only way to enter into a relationship with God is through His Son Jesus Christ (John 3:36; 10:9; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 1 Timothy 2:5).

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and my sin deserves to be punished.  I believe that Christ died for my sins and was raised from the dead.  I trust in Jesus Christ alone as my Savior.  Thank you for the forgiveness and everlasting life I have just received.  In Jesus' Name, Amen!
