The vision of Missions and Evangelism, FirsTouch Ministry, is to touch the world for Christ so that people would become growing Christians.

“We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20).”

Outreach Impact
As we look at our surrounding community, city and abroad, there are numerous opportunities to serve and meet the needs of our people. Realizing the vast needs, the Concord Church has identified several Outreach Impact areas where we will address the needs, provide resources, mobilize volunteers and establish partnerships to make a major impact while spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our Missions & Evangelism consists of the following ministries:

CITY MISSIONS (Local Outreach)

City Missions purpose is to reach people throughout the City of Dallas by spreading the Love of Jesus Christ while partnering with various agencies and organizations to meet the immediate needs of the people within the community.

Make A Difference Day (Spring)

Save the date MADD 2012 on Sat. April 28th from 8am-1pm. We are seeking to mobilize members to serve in the Oak Cliff community. This year's theme is "You Make the Difference!"

In addition to our big "You Make the Difference Day" Random Acts of Kindness challenge and free services, we will have projects in the community IMPACT areas of Homelessness, Hunger, Family, Global Missions, Neighborhood Revitalization and Business & Professional Development.

GLOBAL MISSIONS (International Outreach)

The focus of the Global Missions Ministry is to encourage, equip and empower ordinary people to live “On Mission” by embracing God’s heart for the world. We seek to fulfill the Great Commission by sending outreach teams for evangelism, discipleship, church partnerships and ministry training to other countries.

FOOT SOLDIERS

Foot Soldiers Ministry is our approach to training and mobilizing members to evangelize its community, friends, and families. Every believer is enlisted by God to share his or her faith.

2 Corinthians 5:18-21 “We are therefore Christ ambassadors…”

On every 3^rd Saturday at 9:00 am, we offer a two-hour training and go share our faith in the local community.

Here are 3 ways for you to serve and support our outreach impact areas:

PRAY

Join the Concord Church with praying for mission trips, partner churches / organizations and outreach activities

GIVE

Provide financial support for an upcoming mission trip and ongoing mission activities
Haiti Relief
Mission Trips to Kenya, Haiti & Ghana

Go on a short-term mission trip
Serve on a one-time or ongoing outreach project
Adopt a local or global mission project as a small group team
Partner with existing organizations and ministries
