Missions and Evangelism has been “rebranded” as the FirsTouch Ministry. It is the vision of the ministry to touch the world for Christ so that people would become growing Christians.
FirsTouch Objectives:
Help People Grow in the Area of Serving Humanity (Mt.5:16)
Help People Grow in the Grace and Knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3:17-18)
Help People Grow into a Saving Knowledge of Jesus Christ (John 3:1-21)
Scripture: “We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20).”
GROWTH PROJECTS & GROWTH ACTIVITIES
Make A Difference Day (Spring)
MADD Spring is our annual service day in Dallas where we live out our faith be all men through a variety of service projects. MADD Spring will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2011.
Make A Difference Day (Fall)
MADD Fall is our service day in November when we minister to apartment communities through an “Act of Kindness”.
Daily Bread Food Pantry
The food pantry provides food and toiletries to those who are in need, in the church and in the local community. By addressing the physical need, we have an open door to meet the spiritual needs of the pantry recipients.

Military Care
The Military Care ministry collects and assembles basic hygiene products, Bibles, and encouraging notes for the distribution through the military Adopt-A-Chaplain program to service personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Every Christian is called to share their faith. Here at Concord we can help you become effective in the area of evangelism.
FirsTouch Foot Soldiers
FirsTouch Foot Soldiers is our approach to training and mobilizing Concord Church to evangelize its community, friends, and families. Every believer is enlisted by God to share their faith. F.A.I.T.H. Evangelism
F.A.I.T.H. Evangelism is an in depth small group that meets to discuss how one can effectively share their faith. This small group is available for those who desire to 'grow' deeper in sharing the faith or for those who desire to be leaders in FirsTouch Foot Soldiers. Youth Prison
Youth Prison Ministry provides juvenile offenders an opportunity to be encouraged and exposed to the gospel while they are in juvenile detention. Growth Intercessor – these are individuals who have a passion for prayer and desire to see God move in the community, in the nation, and throughout the world.
Growth Servant – these are individuals who desire to serve behind the scenes and assist the ministry with planning and executing projects and events.
Growth Giver – these are individuals, families, or businesses who desire to support Growth Trips or major Growth Projects.
