8/6-7: Maturity Weekend
Join us for Family Game Night Friday, August 6th from 6pm-9pm in the Fellowship Hall. On Saturday, August 7th there will be a Maturity Mini-Camp for all small group leaders. Registration begins at 8am in the Oasis and the general session begins at 8:30am.
8/8 & 8/15: Manna Bags for the Homeless
The City Missions ministry is in need of hygiene items for the “Manna Bags” project for the homeless. Please leave items at the receptionist area on the 2nd and 3rd Sunday. For more information, contact Olivia Sewell @ 214 275 3916 or olivias724@aol.com.
8/10 Jubilee Praise Dancers.
The jubilee praise dance ministry will have one mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday ,August 10 2010 at 6:30 pm in the oasis worship center .parents must attend in order for child to participate.

8/8: Graduation Promotion
Parents: Mark your calendars for the graduation promotion Sunday, August 8th at 5pm in the sanctuary. We are especially celebrating our kindergarteners moving to 1st grade and our 5th graders moving to youth ministry.
By 8/9: Business Owners Fair
Attention Concord: Get ready for our 2nd Business Owners Fair! If you are a business owner and would like to participate, click here to register. The deadline to register is August 9th and the cost is $25.
8/11: Precious Lambs
The Precious Lambs dance ministry will have one mandatory parent meeting on Wednesday, August 11th from 6:30pm-7:30pm in the Oasis Worship Center. A parent must attend in order for the child to participate.
8/14: Rummage Sale
ROPP for Girls, Inc is holding a Rummage Sale on Saturday, August 14th from 6am-12pm in the Concord Church Parking Lot. Proceeds support our trip to Ghana, Africa in June 2011. For more information, call Rheta Norman @ 469.831.2643.
8/21: Girls Back to School Tea
You’re invited to the Concord Women’s Ministry, “Little Ladies Sip’n Tea!” The tea will be Sat., Aug. 21st from 2-4pm in the Fellowship Hall for grades 1-5. Come in your Sunday best! Click here to sign-up!
8/21: The Deliverer
Join the Faith Dancers as they present “The Deliverer,” a theatrical dance production depicting the person, purpose and position of Jesus Christ. Come explore historical facts and eye witness testimonies Sat., Aug. 21st in the Chapel. Doors open at 5:30pm.
8/21: Date Night-Arlington Skatium
Attention Couples! The couples ministry is hosting the next date night at the Arlington skatium on 08/21 at 6:30pm. The cost is $20 per couple (skates, food and drinks are included). Sign up in the connection after service.
9/11-12: Trip to Austin
We are travelling to Austin for the 10th pastoral anniversary for Pastor Gaylon Clark and the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Sunday, September 12th, Rev. Bryan L. Carter is the guest preacher. The celebration also includes a banquet the evening of Saturday, September 11th, Dr. Shelia Bailey is the guest speaker. Both events will be held at the Long Center for Performing Arts in Austin. To travel by charter bus or for more information, please see representatives after service at the side exit doors on Sundays. The last day to pay for the trip is August 29th.
